National Inventor's Day

Today is National Inventors’ Day, so we thought we’d shine some light on our founder, Joshua Onysko. In his own words, here is a snapshot of his mission and process as the inventor behind Pangea and Alpine Provisions:

"I started 20 years ago in my garage with a dream of creating the highest quality, plant-based skincare and body products.

I’ve been obsessed with understanding the intelligence of nature, traveling the world to learn about ingredients that nourish both body and soul.

My love of the outdoors is what drove me to create Alpine Provisions. I wanted to make an affordable, organic, plastic-free line of products that funds full-ride scholarships to summer Outward Bound programs for underserved youth. I believe every kid should have access to nature and the opportunity to build a deeper relationship with the outdoors.

Sustainability for me is driven by a deep-rooted sense of responsibility to create a better environment and future for all generations.

Going plastic-free was the only choice, and I’m grateful you’re here to help us succeed in our vision of creating a #LifeAfterPlastic.”
